When does the season begin and end? What are some other key dates?
Practices will begin the week of November 4th, 2019 and will end the week of February 3rd, 2020. Practices are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Games will take place on Fridays (5th/6th grade only) and Saturdays (All grades): December 6th/7th, 2019 - February 7th/8th, 2020.
There will be no practices nor games during the week of Thanksgiving (November 24th - 30th, 2019). There will also be no practices nor games from December 15th, 2019 - January 3rd, 2020 due to the upcoming Christmas/New Years Season. Games will pick back up on January 4th, 2020.
Where are practices and games held?
Practices will be held in 2 locations: The Bridge Community Center and Crabapple Elementary School. Each team will have an assigned practice night that will remain constant for the entire season.
How long do practices/games usually run?
Practices will last 45 minutes for Kindergarten, 1 Hour for 1st/2nd grade, and 1 Hour and 15 Minutes for all other grades. The 15 minute devotions are included in these times.
Where can parents/family wait while practices are in progress?
In order to provide the best possible learning environment for our players and coaches, we limit our practices to parents and coaches only in the gym during their assigned practice times. Parents and/or other family members are welcome to wait in the lobby area of the Bridge, or in the hallway adjacent to the gym at Crabapple Elementary.
Will I be able to register my child during Upward Evaluations?
No. We only accept registration forms to be completed online during the registration period.
What size basketball should my child practice with?
25.5" for Kindergarten and 1st/2nd grade.
28.5" for 3rd/4th - 5th/6th grades.
Do I need to pay when registering my child to play?
No. When registering your child online, you will be given the option to either pay by credit card online or pay in person at Evaluations. Should you choose to select the pay in person option, your payment must be received during the week of Evaluations in order to secure your child's spot.
